In a groundbreaking move towards enhancing global educational opportunities, NSBM Green University proudly inaugurated its latest global venture, “Global Connect” on 17th October 2023. This visionary initiative, positioned as a comprehensive global education support centre, aims to redefine NSBM’s international education services, providing support for students aspiring to pursue overseas educational ventures.
The Global Connect office was officially declared open by His Excellency Michael Appleton, the High Commissioner of New Zealand to Sri Lanka. The opening was graced by a distinguished delegation; Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the Faculties, Ms. Sumudu Jayasinghe, Policy Adviser of the High Commission of New Zealand to Sri Lanka and Ms. Nimali Digo Arachchi, Executive Assistant to the High Commissioner.
This newly launched global education centre at NSBM Green University offers a range of services designed with access to international education experiences and opportunities by collaborating with international partner universities.
